Disable the update notification for ConsignO Desktop

ConsignO Desktop automatically display a notification when a new version is available. To deactivate this notification, two keys need to be added to the Windows’ registry. Two methods can be used.

Note that the menu Help / Check for updates cannot be disabled.

Method 1: Command line

In a command prompt with Administrative rights, perform the following two commands:

reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Notarius\Consigno /v disableUpdatesDisplay /d true
reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Notarius\Consigno /v disableUpdatesDisplay /d true

Method 2: Registry file

Download the registry file to disable update notifications. Using Windows Explorer, right click on the file and select Merge.
